My Story Is Not Just About Survival, It Is About Healing, Truth, and Purpose

I am Chioma Chime. An author, speaker, survivor, and advocate committed to helping individuals heal from trauma, reclaim their voices, and walk boldly into wholeness

CHIOMA CHIME

Who I Am

My name is Chioma Chime, and I am an author, speaker, and advocate for survivors of abuse and trauma. But before the titles, before the books, and before the platforms, I was someone learning how to survive in silence.

For a long time, my story lived quietly inside me. I carried experiences that shaped my life, my relationships, and my sense of self. Like many survivors, I learned how to appear strong on the outside while hurting deeply within. I learned how to keep going, even when healing felt distant.

But silence was never meant to be my permanent home.

The Turning Point

There came a moment when I realized that survival alone was not enough. I did not just want to exist. I wanted to heal. I wanted to understand my pain, name it, and transform it into something meaningful.

That decision changed everything.

Through faith, reflection, journaling, and intentional healing, I began the journey of reclaiming my voice. I learned that vulnerability is not weakness. It is courage. It is truth. And it is the beginning of freedom.

Why I Write

Writing became my way of healing  and later, my way of helping others heal.

My books were not written to impress. They were written to reach. They were written for the person who feels unseen, unheard, or unsure if healing is even possible. Each page carries honesty, compassion, and the reminder that no one’s story is too broken to be restored.

Through my memoirs, workbooks, and children’s books, I address trauma, boundaries, consent, self-worth, and emotional recovery in ways that are gentle, practical, and empowering.

My Advocacy & Mission

Today, my work centers on creating safe, trauma-informed spaces for healing and growth.

I am deeply passionate about:

  • Supporting survivors of abuse
  • Encouraging emotional honesty
  •  Teaching healthy boundaries
  •  Promoting faith-based healing
  • Amplifying women’s voices

This passion led to the creation of the No More Secrets Program  a monthly, confidential space where survivors can share, heal, and rebuild without judgment or pressure.

My mission is simple but sacred:
To remind survivors that healing is possible, their voices matter, and their stories have power

Faith & Healing

My journey is deeply rooted in faith. I believe healing is not only emotional but spiritual. I believe God meets us in our broken places and walks with us as we heal.

Faith, for me, is not denial of pain  it is the courage to face it with hope

What I Believe

  •  Healing is a journey, not a destination
  • Vulnerability is strength
  • Silence should never be forced
  • Survivors deserve safe spaces
  • Women’s voices matter
  • Boundaries protect healing
  • Faith can coexist with therapy and support
